Wimberley Yoga

This type of yoga focuses on strength as well as flexibility.  Gaining and maintaining muscular balance is also emphasized.  While safe for seniors, this is a great yoga for anyone wanting to revitalize and invigorate.  While we have beginner, regular, and advanced classes, most classes include students of all levels. However, our “advanced students” have not focused on extreme flexibility.  They are simply more balanced in their musculature and are balanced in both strength and flexibility.

The mental aspects are of relaxation and meditation. Breath is emphasized, and while it does not always happen, people generally experience a centering feeling by the end of class. These classes are a all-around great way to take care of yourself.
